Sauvignon Blanc

Our early plantings on the Dry River Estate included a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc.  These vines were removed after the 2006 vintage to allow us to plant more Pinot Gris and some Viognier.  Our wines tended to express themselves in the riper melon and citrus spectrum and are long-lived in the cellar.  Older bottles in our cellar have complex flavours of honey and toast characters on the nose and improved richness on the palate.
