Dry River Estate Gewurztraminer 2008

A bouquet of old roses, yellow peach, ginger and talc precede a palate which is rich and rounded - a glossy palate balanced perfectly by the alcohol and luscious fruit. The flavours are of Turkish Delight, yellow peach and crystalline ginger with a slight mandarin zest edge. This is a wine equally enjoyable by itself or with strong flavoured food. Drink anytime after about three years but we have found that wines such as these can be long-lived.
