Riesling

We make Riesling in two styles, our regular dry Riesling and a ‘Selection Riesling’.  Both wines come from the same vineyard, ‘Craighall’ containing vines which were planted in the early 1980’s.  Both styles rely on ripe fruit but vary in their acid/ sugar/ alcohol balance with the Selection carrying more residual sugar and a lower alcohol.  Sometimes the Selection Riesling has a small amount of botrytis affected fruit.  Both wines lend themselves to longer term cellaring.
