An intense lemon/green colour leads into bright and even spicy aromas along with flowers, minerality and intense lime zest. The palate continues the theme with a bright rather than piercing acidity, introducing the wine as one which will repay cellaring – our suggestion being for drinking from about 3+ years. The flavours are concentrated and lasting – jasmine, limes and other citrus with a minerality and once again that subtle aftertaste of nutmeg, before finishing with the freshness of granny smith apples. We take pleasure in this wine for its purity of expression as well as the power of its statement.
